PEP Love

4.7.2010 love in the house! reconnecting with PEP (Pin@y Educational Partnerships) crew. liza, tracy, allyson, gwen and arleezy. it is absolutely amazing to see how far PEP has come since our FIRST teaching group. we started off as a group of 12, and now PEP is 44 teachers and in 5 schools in SFUSD. ethnic studies has now been institutionalized in the district because of PEP's groundbreaking work. allyson continues to be an amazing mentor and groundbreaking professor and educator. tracy's now a professor at CSUN in education. rod just completed his PhD (congrats doktor!). arlene and gwen are in the same cohort in their PhD program in education too. jonell is working at VYDC (i used to work there too!) doing case management with southeast asian youth. look out, world. PEP continues to revolutionize education.
